Cox Farms 2009

With it being October and obviously the month of Halloween we went to Cox Farms for a day of fun and picking our pumpkins. All 3 of us had a really good time. Aurora loved the slides this year and even went down a couple by herself. When we went down the dinosaur slide as we got to the bottom she said I want to do it again, so we got back in line and went down again.

She got to go on her 2nd pony ride of the year. She had a big smile on her face when she went around. While we were waiting in line for our turn she was playing on the "troll bridge" and would run up to us and say "I am not scared anymore". We have no idea why but she keot saying it with a very proud look on her face, it was cute.
As always she was a huge fan of all of the animals. She pet a cow and tried to feed it,pet a calf, fed goats and saw a mommy pig and her little piglets. This year we decided not to do the hay ride and do the corn maze instead. As we were walking through it she would whisper to us to be quiet and tell us no talking. The funniest thing was when she turned around, touched my belly and said Mason be quiet. I told her he will never be as quiet as he is right now. LOL. She loved going through the maze and was acting like we were going on an adventure. The only part she was not a big fan of was the room that was dark and like a rain forest and the room that was dark and had reptiles and insects all over the walls(they were plastic).

That day was a junk food day. Their fries are delicious, we got kettle corn and she did not want to share with us at all and she got to try apple cider for the first time.

After we were done we went and picked out our pumpkins. She picked out 3 little ones and a big round orange one all be herself. As we were checking out I saw a little white pumpkin and had to get it. So our pumpkin family as she has been calling it has 5 pumpkins. We let her push the wheel barrow to get the pumpkin and just run around the pumpkin area. It took her a good 20 minutes to find the perfect pumpkin.
Sadly we forgot to make sure the battery was charged for the camera so we do not have a lot of pictures of the end of the day. Here are a few of the better ones.

We had a great time and will be doing this every year!!
