The 1st week of 2009

Aurora had her 18 month appointment on Friday. She weighed in at 26lbs 2ozs(80th%) and stayed at 33.5inches(90th%). This was the first time since she was born that she was not in the 90th percentile for her weight. It seems like she is finally slowing down. Everything else went really well at her appointment. She is way ahead on the amount of words that she knows and that she is already putting sentences together. She is great on her physical milestones as well. Either meeting or surpassing them. She did tell us that we should probably try and start limiting her Ba(paci) time. Cutting it completly out sooner rather then later. But seeing as it is her only comfort item it will probably be awhile before we completly take it away from her. No shots at this appointment but we will have to go back to get her chicken pox shot.

Memaw and Great Aunt Barbara came and visited for the weekend. We all had a fun going out to eat, and having Rory not eat anything off of her plate but eating Mommys and Memaws food instead. She was all about her Great Aunt Barbabra. It was constantly Barbara, where are you? Very cute. We went to Chuck E Cheese. She had an Ok time but it was really crowded since it was a Saturday. She loved riding in a moving monster truck, holding the basket ball while mommy and daddy dunked the other basketballs for more tickets and her favorite thing was putting the tokens into the machines.

Her favorite show right now is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and she is obsessed with coloring. Sleep has been interesting since she got in a couple bad habits while we were in Sac. I think she is almost back to normal though. O yea and we got her bangs cut again. The long thing just was not working.

Rachel,Danny,Aurora, thank you all
for spending Christmas in Sac,it's
a long trip.Remember xmas is all about family;always will be for me.
schedule is good, routine is good, but also changing it is a good thing once in awhile so she doesn't have melt downs when there is change, she can learn to adapt in any situation, because we all know things do change,it's life. luv you all grandma linda
